Using his motto "The Gatekeepers Are Gone," Lamar has leveraged social media to move his website BlackandMarriedWithKids.com from a small personal blog to an international brand with over 600 thousand social media fans and over 35 thousand customers across all 50 states and 43 countries.
Among the recognition received for his work, Lamar, along with wife Ronnie was named one of Ebony Magazine's Power 100, a list of the top 100 movers and shakers in the black community, finalists for Black Enterprise's Family Business of the Year and finalists for Infusionsoft’s Small Business ICON award.
Recognizing the need for positive images of black marriage in the media, Ronnie founded BlackandMarriedWithKids.com (BMWK) in 2007 along with husband Lamar. Over the last eleven years she has grown the site from a personal blog shared by one couple to an international brand with over 600,000 social media fans.
Under the couple’s Tyler New Media company umbrella, Ronnie has co-produced seven films which deal with the challenges and triumphs of marriage in the black community. The couple was named one of Ebony Magazine’s Power 100 in 2011 and 2012.
Prior to running BMWK Ronnie spent 17 years with IBM as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) managing projects with 30 million dollar budgets and up to 30 developers spread across 4 continents.

When and where is TSP Game Plan 2020?
TSP Game Plan takes place January 10-11, 2020 at The Westin Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia. TSP Game Plan is a two-day intensive workshop that goes from 9AM-10PM. You'll receive a link to our hotel room block starting at just $155 per night once you register. Last Day to Book Your Hotel Room is Thursday, December 19, 2019.
When should I schedule travel?
We start early and end late so it's best to fly in the night before the event and plan to leave the day after we're done since the last session won't end until 10PM. Trust us, you don't want to miss a minute of what we have in store.
Can I buy a ticket for my son/daughter?
Our long days are probably too much for small children but if you have a purpose driven child between the age of 16-23 TSP Game Plan will introduce them to a new world. We offer a small number of youth scholarships for this age group. For more info email us at customerservice[at]tylernewmedia.com.
